16-year-old youth dies in acid attack in Sukkur

SUKKUR: An incident of acid attack has occurred in Sukkur in which a 16-year-old boy lost his life.
According to police sources, unknown suspects threw acid on a 16-year-old boy in Frakal Colony of Sukkur, who was immediately shifted to a local hospital.
According to the hospital administration, the young man who suffered acid burns died during treatment in the hospital.
The victim’s father says that the electricity was off at night, the accused entered the house and escaped by throwing acid.
The police say that investigation is going on from various aspects of the incident, and a case is being registered against the accused.
