5 officials including DSP and 2 SHOs martyred in dacoits attack near Obaero

SUKKUR: Dacoits attacked a police party in Ronti, a rural area in Ghotki district, killing 5 policemen including DSP and 2 SHOs.
According to details, SHO Obaro Asghar Awan, DSP Obaro Abdul Malik Bhutto, SHO Khenjo Deen Mohammad Laghari, Abdul Malik and 2 police officers were martyred in the attack by the bandits.
The police say that an SHO has also been injured in the attack, the bodies of the martyred police officers were in the hands of the robbers.
DIG Javed Jaskani said that a police camp was set up to recover the hostages in the village of Obaro in Ghotki tehsil.
According to the DIG, more than 150 bandits attacked the police camp at night.
Javed Jaskani further said that a heavy police force has been dispatched to Kutcha.
Later the bodies of 5 officers including DSP and 2 SHOs who were martyred in the attack were handed over by the dacoits to the police.
After several hours, the robbers handed over the bodies of the martyred police officers and personnel to the police.
SHO Ronti Ghulam Ali Brohi and other officials have been injured in the encounter and have been shifted to the hospital for medical assistance.
