6 mourners killed in an attempt to pay homage the Aqdas shrine

SUKKUR: 6 mourners were killed while trying to pay homage to the Shrine of Aqdas on the occasion of the 9th of Muharram al-Haram procession in Rohri city of Sukkur district of Sindh.
The police say that many mourners were injured in the attempt to pay their last respects, while the condition of many is critical. In this regard, the police have said that one of the dead persons has been identified and the process of identifying the others is going on.
The police have further informed that the mourners who were seriously injured while trying to pay their last respects have been shifted to Rohri Hospital.
