Protest held against staff of Sepco Bunder road Sub division Sukkur

SUKKUR: The officers and staff of Sukkur Electric Power Company (SEPCO) sub division Bunder road have made the market of bribery hot in the blessed month of Ramadan by harassing the public in this month of fasting. This was alleged by inhabitants of Shamshabad who torched tyres on the roads.
According to their allegations, the staff of Sukkur Electric Power Company (SEPCO) took off the electric wires under the pretext of non-payment of electricity bills but actually due to non-payment of bribes in the month of Ramadan. They blocked the road and set fire to the tire and chanted slogans against SDO SEPCO Israr Ahmed Bachkani. They said that unannounced loadshedding in Shamsabad feeder continues everyday for 10 to 12 hours even in Ramadan and they made a request to Federal Minister of Water and Power and SEPCO Chief to remove SDO Asrar Bachkani, Line Superintendent Maqsood Bhatti, Assistant Superintendent Farhan Mako, Lineman Ahmed Ali and other black wolves and appoint honest officers.
