SEPCO team got arrested person for allegedly stealing braces from Poles

SUKKUR: A thief was caught red-handed while stealing a brace plate from a high transmission line tower in Sepco.
The incident took place when Assistant Engineer Transmission SEPCO – Jamshed Ahmed Memon along with his staff were on patrolling.

Assistant Engineer Transmission Jamshed Ahmed Memon along with his staff took action on the spot and caught red-handed an accused Shahbaz meerani with around 50 tower braces plate and loader rickshaw while the other accused managed to escape.
According to Shehbaz Mirani, a person named Bakht Ali was also involved in the theft while we were going to steal the braces plate and sell it to Imran Shar, a scrap dealer of Rohri, who is an equal participant in the incident.
Meanwhile, as soon as the police got the information, the police team reached the spot and the thief Shehbaz Mirani was arrested, while the braces plate and loader rickshaw found from the tower were taken into custody by the police.
A case has been registered by SEPCO against the thief Shehbaz Mirani, Bakht Ali, Imran Shar and 4 unknown persons in Patni police station near Rohri, but the police have not yet arrested the rest of the accused who stole the braces plate from the tower. Raids are being conducted at various places.
