Sukkur police step up patrols and snap checks to maintain City Security

SUKKUR: The Sukkur police are taking proactive measures to ensure law and order within the city, as per the directives of SSP Sukkur. This includes increased patrolling throughout the city and conducting snap checks at various locations within different police station boundaries.
SHO Umid Ali Shah, along with his team and Launch Mor Chowki in-charge Tariq Chana, recently led late-night snap checks in multiple areas under Hudud Police Station. These areas included Hockey Ground, Lub Mehran, Wari Tad Road, Bandar Road, Miani Road, and others. During the checks, bicycles and vehicles were searched, and citizens were advised to avoid unnecessary outings due to the cold weather and fog.
Speaking to the media, SHO Umid Ali Shah emphasized that these efforts, including the ongoing snap checks, are part of a broader initiative under SSP Sukkur’s guidance to maintain peace and security in the city. He assured residents that the police are dedicated to providing comprehensive protection within the police station’s jurisdiction.
