Sukkur SSP opens doors to address public concerns

Action will be taken against any officer who fails to resolve issues diligently

SUKKUR: In a bid to address public grievances, SSP Sukkur Zubair Nazir Ahmed Sheikh has adopted an open-door policy. Citizens facing various issues can now directly approach the SSP’s office for assistance.
During a recent public meeting, SSP Sheikh actively listened to citizens’ complaints and swiftly directed concerned police stations to address them. He emphasized the need for prompt action on these matters and issued directives to DSPs and SHOs to prioritize public concerns.
Action will be taken against any officer who fails to resolve issues diligently,” the SSP warned, urging officers to treat the public with courtesy and respect. He reiterated that serving the people and alleviating their problems is a noble form of service.
This approach signifies a shift towards enhanced accessibility and responsiveness within the Sukkur police department. By opening communication channels and actively engaging with the public, SSP Sheikh aims to build trust and strengthen community relations.
