Lawyers demands reforms in judge’s appointment

SUKKUR: Sindh lawyers raised objections to the appointment of adhoc judges, Sindh Bar Council, Sindh High Court Bar Association and District Bar lawyers sukkur declared such appointment unjust in the province.
Sindh Bar Council member Qurban Malano, High Court Bar Sukkur President Sarfraz Akhund, District Bar President Aidan Mangi, General Secretary Zulfiqar Ali Malano and others while addressing a press conference at Sukkur Press Club. further they said that Sindh Judiciary system was being run by a retired judge.
The judiciary is independent but themselves are sent to three names for appointment accordance with the Constitution which is not being applied at the time.
however, the point is being ignored since 2017 for the appointment of judges. They threatened that they will be on the road for justice and will also sit in.
