SUKKUR: Saqib Ali son of Mashuq Abro aged 2 years who belongs to Shikarpur who is residing in Block 23 of Relief Camp Labor Colony Sukkur due to recent rains. Due to severe weakness due to lack of food, he was admitted to Civil Hospital Sukkur on the recommendation of ex-mayor Sukkur Arslan Sheikh by non-governmental volunteers of the relief camp. Otherwise, the doctors were not ready to admit the child patient.
The elder sister of this child, Yasmin Abaro, born Mashuq Abaro, aged 7 years, was weak due to lack of food and died in the medial dispensary yesterday established in the relief camp who was buried yesterday. And the government did not even provide an ambulance to the heirs to take the dead body. An ambulance has been parked at Labor Colony Relief Camp just for show?
People of Sukkur consider the state responsible for the death of Yasmin Abro and the condition of Saqib Abro. Our state can not meet even one child’s food in difficult times?
