One dacoit killed, 2 escape after police encounter

SUKKUR : An alleged killer involved in martyrdom of ASI Gul Hassan Taggar, has reportedly been killed in a police encounter at Jarhe Maa area Rohri said Sukkur police spokesman on Tuesday.
The deceased gangster-cum-robber has been identified as Fawad Mangrio who in police returned fire during the encounter, received serious bullet injuries, while his two accomplices managed to escape from the scene. The police shifted the injured to hospital where doctors tried their best to save his life but in vain and he expired. The dacoits allegedly opened fire at the police party and on retaliation, a dacoit identified as Fawad Mangrio , was killed and a TT pistol and its bullets were also recovered from his possession, while police is conducting raids in different area to trace his other two accomplices who managed to escape. However, two other robbers allegedly Faraz mahar and Ahsan managed to escape from the seen, the spokesperson said. A special police team was also constituted to trace out whereabouts of the escapees and arrest them at the earliest, spokesman added.
