A dacoit killed in a clash with police at Gadpur police station

SUKKUR: In Sadhuja Kacha, 5 armed accused entered a house with the intention of robbery. At least one dacoit was killed and four others escaped during a confrontation between police and dacoits at Gadpur police station. According to SSP Sukkur Sanghar Malik, the slain dacoit has been identified as Bashir Chachar. According to police, five unidentified dacoits were present at a house with the intention of looting. Upon receiving information, the dacoits opened fire on the police at Mithu Andhar. A search operation is underway to find the dacoit but two buffaloes and a gun snatched from the dead dacoit’s possession have been recovered. Details of the criminal record of the slain dacoit are being obtained from various police stations in the district and other districts. The deceased was shifted to Taluka Hospital for postmortem and further legal action.
