A one-day training workshop for journalists to better perform journalistic duties during election campaign and voting day

SUKKUR: After announcing the general elections across the country in the last week of January, the Election Commission Sukkur administration also became active, and in this regards a one-day training workshop for journalists was organized in a local hotel to perform their duties better. A large number of male and female journalists from newspapers, TV channels, YouTubers participated.
On this occasion, Regional Election Commissioner Sukkur Waseem Jaafari, Regional Election Commissioner Shaheed Benazirabad Muhammad Yusuf, District Election Commissioner Ghotki Parvez Ahmad Kalur and District Election Commissioner Amin Bashir, Madam Kulsoom and Khurram Shahzadnis journalists performed responsible journalistic duties during the election campaign and voting. While giving training, he said that the job of a good journalist is to perform duties keeping in mind the code of conduct specified by the Election Commission and the Government of Pakistan so as to avoid any difficulties.
Today we aim to provide training so that we can perform our duties during the election in a good manner. On this occasion, negative and positive journalistic duties were highlighted through a projector, laptop, chart and training was provided to journalists. In the training session, senior journalist Ghulam Abbas Bhanbharu from Khairpur expressed his opinion and said that at this time the country needs clean and transparent elections. The policy of providing should also be clear. He said that for the conduct of clean and transparent elections, it is necessary that the Election Commission, political parties, appoint only the voters of their wards who live in the area as polling agents and journalists in any Leaned towards a party or organization? It should not be done, our work is like a mirror.
Hope people will benefit from this training. At the end of the session, certificates were also presented to those who completed the training. During the program, Junior Personal Stunt Regional Election Commissioner Sadruddin Abbasi, Election Officer Asar Ali Nisahafis were fully supported.
