Additional Advocate General Sindh Shafi Muhammad Chandio talks to media

SUKKUR: Additional Advocate General Sindh Shafi Muhammad Chandio who was talking to Media along with additional advocate general Sindh Noor Hassan Malik, has said that Federal Shariat Court Branch Sukkur is a historic step, and with the cooperation of Sindh government, Sukkur branch was established. There will be hearings on huddood cases including underage marriages.
The Federal Government and the Supreme Court of Pakistan are requested to complete the Shariah Court, he said.
There are only two judges in the Federal Sharia Court, he told and demanded to complete the body of eight judges as soon as possible.
Marriage law amendment case can be challenged at a young age but so far no one has challenged, chandio told and suggested that Islamic Sharia Council should have challenged this law.
