Cases filed against hundreds of officers of power distribution companies involved in theft
Electricity distribution companies transferred 1,937 officers of grades 17 to 20, while 248 officers with bad reputation were sent to headquarters

SUKKUR: The cordon has also been tightened against the electricity distribution companies, and cases have been registered against hundreds of officers involved in electricity theft, while the series of arrests is also ongoing.
According to reports, till now cases have been registered against 1955 officers of distribution companies, 21 arrests have also been made. Fine was imposed, of which one crore 1 million rupees was received. According to the sources of Power Division, a departmental inquiry has been initiated against 351 officers of LESCO, 138 of GAPCO, 195 of FESCO, while 219 of ISCO, 314 of MAPCO, 299 of PESCO, HESCO. Departmental inquiry is on against 112, Sepco 86, Kisco 165, Tesco 35 officers. Sources of the Power Division say that 248 officers with a negative reputation were transferred to different areas without recommendation.
