DIG Sukkur meets with officials to address crime concerns

SUKKUR: DIG Sukkur, Syed Pir Muhammad Shah, chaired a comprehensive policy meeting to review crime prevention strategies, investigation success rates, and punishment ratios for criminals. This meeting was held in the public school auditorium hall Sukkur.
The meeting addressed key issues, including:
– Implementing the Police Station Record Management System (PSRMS)
– Enhancing investigation skills and achievements
– Increasing conviction rates, particularly in government cases
– Evaluating and training crime scene units
– Promotions and postings of ASIs, Inspectors, and SHOs
– Allocating at least 70% of police personnel for operational duties
– Ensuring timely registration of FIRs
– Improving communication among DSPs, SHOs, and police stations
– Recognizing and rewarding outstanding performance
– Supervising plantation drives in respective districts
– Taking departmental action against police officers involved in illegal activities
The meeting was attended by SSPs of all three districts, SP Legal, SDPOs, DSP Legal, SHOs, investigating officers, and other officials. DIG Sukkur emphasized the importance of honoring police martyrs and implementing the plans discussed.”
DIG issued orders to implement his plan of action on other related matters and implement them accordingly.
