Disclosure of involvement of high officials of MCC Hyderabad in large-scale corruption
No one has taken action against extortion and bribery of the officials of the customs department, the national exchequer is losing crores of rupees every month

SUKKUR: Corruption and bribery are on the rise in the customs department, non-customs goods are being sent by receiving extortion, the national treasury is being injected with crores of rupees every month, demand to take immediate notice from the customs authorities. According to details, Jacobabad district is located at the junction of three provinces and domestic and foreign trade starts from here. Due to the black sheep in the customs department, the department has become infamous. Smuggling of non-customs goods continues due to the support and bribery of customs officials. There is open smuggling of non-custom pad cars, dry food, cigarettes, foreign blankets, clothes and other goods including medicines and no action is being taken. The public social circles of interior Sindh have demanded the higher authorities of the customs department
to take notice in this regard. They said that due to the extortion and bribery of the officials of the customs department, the national exchequer is losing crores of rupees every month and no action is being taken in this regard. They said that the Model Customs Collectorate (MCC) Hyderabad has become a stronghold of corruption, so an immediate investigation should be conducted and action should be taken against the people involved.
