Exporters should be given same facilities as competing countries

ISLAMABAD: Chairman Pakistan Apparel Forum Muhammad Javed Balwani has said that exporters have to be given equal facilities as in competitive countries. It is imperative to continue the policy initiative of special utility tariffs. It has made significant new investments in the last 10 months to develop its industries and during this period has made a record investment of US 700 million for the purchase of new machinery for industrial expansion. Except for the fact that regional countries offer huge benefits and incentives to foreign investors. Javed Balwani said in a function that this would also increase the economic difficulties many times and exporters would be forced to think of shifting their industries abroad. Only exporters are bringing US dollars to Pakistan in the form of foreign exchange.
