Dr Abdul Waheed Mastoi
SUKKUR: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam candidate advocate Sikander Ahmed Junejo from Sukkur provincial assembly constituency PS 25 has said that the former elected representatives are responsible for the problems and destruction of Sukkur, but this time the people of Sukkur want to get rid of those responsible for the destruction.
During the meeting with the dignitaries of different communities, he said that the city of Sukkur has received funds worth billions of rupees for the last 15 years, but they do not seem to be used anywhere. The former rulers claim to build roads and hospitals in Sukkur. He said that if the citizens would be freed from dirty environment and dirty water by providing clean water for drinking, there would be no need to build so many hospitals in Sukkur.
We do not claim to make Sukkur Paris, but if the people of Sukkur give us a chance, we will try to solve the problems of Sukkur so that if it rains in Sukkur, people will not have to use boats for transportation. We do not claim. Promises will be fulfilled and provision of basic facilities to the people will be our first priority.
