Growers of Palh minor protested against Xen Memon

Ahsan Khan SUKKUR: Several growers of Palh minor staged a protest rally here on Thursday against Executive Engineer of Khairpur East canal Ghulam Muhammad memon for depriving of their legal irrigated water share only to illegal favor of his own community of Bhayo community. Every inhibitant and grower of the Palh minor area will tell you how wonderful the area used to be, what a peaceful area it was, with law and order and low levels of violence, but due to illegal support to give illegal share of irrigation water to Bhayo community owing to his personal contact, Xen Khairpur East canal Ghulam Muhammad memon has inhanced the chances of re emergence of old fuedal dispute which was settled by by the hectic efforts of current Chief Engineer Sardar Shah a year before, protesters told journalist. They appealed DIG Sukkur, Commandant officer Shahbaz Rangers, and Chief Engineer Sukkur Left Barrage to take the issue as deprived growers of Palh minor could be saved from the high-handedness of corrupt and nepotism mind setting officials of irrigation department. To confirm all these things, when an attempt was made to contact Xen Ghulam Muhammad memon, all his numbers were found to be unresponded.
