SUKKUR: Advocate Sikandar Ahmed Junejo, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam’s (JUI) candidate for PS-24 in the upcoming elections, has pledged to hold those in power accountable and prioritize public service if elected. In a recent interview with Indus News. One, he expressed confidence in JUI’s victory, stating: “The days of reckoning for those who robbed the people of power and deceived them for years are approaching. By the grace of God, they will be defeated by the power of the people’s votes”.
Mr. Junejo believes voters are now aware and cannot be easily misled. He highlights JUI’s history of advocating for the nation and its people, predicting a decisive victory for all its candidates, ultimately leading to the success of Maulana Fazlur Rahman, the party’s leader.
Addressing local concerns, Mr. Junejo vowed to address corruption in Sukkur’s development projects. He accused incumbent officials of enriching themselves through underhanded practices while neglecting their promises to the public. He guaranteed his own dedication to serving the people and resolving their concerns at their doorsteps.
Mr. Junejo further criticized the current representative of PS-24, highlighting their five-year absence after winning the previous election. He assured voters that JUI would never abandon them and emphasized his commitment to social service, a value ingrained in the party’s identity.
