Malpractices in Civil Hospital Sukkur on rise, doctors robbing public by checking up patients in private hospitals

SUKKUR: Government doctors have become money-making machines. Apart from salaries of millions of rupees, they are also receiving commissions of millions of rupees from medicine companies involved in substandard medicine. Instead of sitting in public hospitals, they are robbing the public by checking up patients in private hospitals.
The government of Sindh should terminate the jobs of such butcher doctors and give the chance to freshly graduated honest and soft hearted doctors in their place. The Government should give jobs in the health department to unemployed doctors who are dutiful and have a passion for serving humanity. Free treatment could be given, Maulana Shahzad Drehu Lal Dino merani and other social leaders said. According to the details, for many days, the health department employees in Sukkur including Sindh have been protesting by the doctors and lower staff of the government hospitals by closing the government hospitals for the recognition of risk allowance and other demands, due to which the government hospitals in the cities of Sindh including the civil hospital in Sukkur are poor are useless for inaccessible patients. To the Civil Hospital Sukkur not only from Sukkur district but also poor people from Khairpur, Shikarpur, Ghotki and Kandhkot Kashmore come for treatment, they said. The people are worried because of the doctors’ protests, and they are in need of treatment. At the same time, the government doctors are robbing the public by charging thousands of rupees for checking up patients in Sukkur’s Hira Hospital, Blood Bank and other private hospitals. But the government of Sindh has not taken notice of the atrocities committed against the people, while citizens dndhan and Sunny Rajput, who said that the doctors appointed in government hospitals have become money-making machines, they have received thousands of rupees from the health department of Sindh but are fruitless for the poor people.
Apart from this, corruption is also involved in the purchase of government medicines and the fraud in hospitals. After the removal of the storekeeper, the matter was handed over to the cold room. Government doctors and female doctors in every city of Sindh, including Civil Hospital Sukkur, are receiving commissions of millions of rupees from two-number medicine companies, and due to the use of two-number drugs with such commissions, the patients instead of getting well, succumb to chronic diseases.
Instead of sitting in public hospitals, these hard hearted doctors are robbing and robbing the public by checking up patients in private hospitals. Honest doctors should be given jobs in the health department and appointed in the hospitals of Sindh including Sukkur so as the poor and needy people can get free treatment.
