Manzoor Wasan admits there was negligence in removing water from the flood-affected areas

SUKKUR: Manzoor Wasan, a senior leader of the People’s Party Sindh, admitted the negligence in removing water from the flood-affected areas.
Speaking to the media in Khairpur, Manzoor Wasan said that the Sindh government had neglected to remove water from the flood-affected areas.
He said that flood water is still standing in many areas, the reason for this is poor and inefficient drainage system.
The PP leader further said that the Sindh government has increased the prices of sugarcane and wheat to compensate for the loss of rains.
He said that seeing the conditions of the farmers, the prices of wheat and sugarcane can be further increased.
Manzoor Wasan also said that the general elections can be held in the middle of May or June 2023. Those who form an alliance against the People’s Party have nothing to gain but failure.
