Motorway police to start campaign to avert motorbikes accidents

SUKKUR: Under the No More Accidents and No More Violations Campaign, the Motorway Police has decided to take strict action against motorcyclists who do not use helmets and side glasses on national highways from July 25. A briefing is being held regarding rescue which was addressed by SP Motorway Sector Sukkur Zahid Nazir Wariah.
According to the details, following the special instructions of IG Motorway Khalid Mehmood and DIG Motorway Sindh Fida Hussain Mastoi, in different areas of Sukkur sector like the whole country under the supervision of SP Motorway Zahid Nazir Wariah to prevent road accidents through following traffic rules. Briefing was being organized for motorcyclists who do not use helmets and side glasses while traveling, who are being told about the importance of helmets and side glasses to avoid possible road accidents.
In this regard, SP Motorway Sukkur Zahid Nazir Wariah says that the Motorway Police is giving awareness to the public about road safety in the highways, small and large cities and areas of Pakistan to prevent road accidents and traffic laws, especially the national highways. From July 25, strict action will be taken against people riding motorcycles without helmets and not displaying glasses on the highway because the number of accidents involving motorcycle riders is high in road accidents, which is mainly due to careless riding of motorcycles and also not to use helmet and not to display glasses on the bike.
He said that the Motorway Police is taking all possible steps to control road accidents in Pakistan under the No More Accidents and No More Violations campaign, under the special instructions of IG Motorway. It is also organizing programs regarding road safety in different areas, so that people can be saved from road accidents by providing useful advice and information about traffic rules and prevention of road accidents.
