Queen Elizabeth II has died, Buckingham Palace announced

LONDON: Britain’s longest-reigning Queen Elizabeth II has died at the age of 96 in Belmoral.
He ruled Britain for 70 years.
His family gathered at his residence in Scotland on Thursday after concerns were expressed over his health.
Elizabeth became Queen in 1952 and saw massive social change during her reign.
After his death, his eldest son Charles, the former Prince of Wales, will become the new King of Great Britain and head of the 14 Commonwealth of Nations.
The Queen died peacefully at Belmoral this afternoon,” Buckingham Palace said in a statement.
According to the statement, ‘The King (Charles) and Queen Consort (Camilla Parker) will remain at Belmoral this evening and return to London tomorrow.’
All of the Queen’s descendants remain at Belmoral, where the Queen was kept under medical supervision.
Queen Elizabeth’s grandson Prince William has arrived at Belmoral while Prince Harry is on his way.
