SDO Sepco Amjad Bachkani’s bail plea rejected, SHC court says not maintainable

SUKKUR: The Sukkur bench of Sindh High Court has rejected bail of accused Amjad Bachkani’s who was booked in murder case of ex TMO Aijaz Shaikh. While pleading for Amjad Bachkani’s bail, his lawyer told the court that his client is from a respectable family, has roots in the society and won’t run away. His lawyer also presented a number of past judgements while making a case for Bachkani’s bail. It must be remembered that the lower court had granted bail of Amjad Bachkani in the murder case of Aijaz Shaikh. The High Court, rejecting his bail application, ordered him to be shifted to the Central Jail Sukkur. The Sukkur bench of Sindh High Court has rejected bail of accused on the claimant’s application.
