SEPCO takes action against power thieves

SUKKUR: SEPCO anti power theft teams conducted Operations in Khairpur, Shikarpur, Dadu, Jacobabad, Larkana, Sukkur, Ghotki here on Monday.
According to SEPCO spokesman,
Anti power theft teams disconnected 74,000 illegal electricity connections in last few weeks.
Talking to Media SEPCO chief Saeed Daouch told that thousands of meters of power lines have been seized from power thieves and fine of Rs 70 million has been collected from about 600 power thieves.
According to him 58 FIRs have been registered against power thieves in different districts.
Action has been taken against dozens of SEPCO employees for assisting in power theft and Teams also mobilized to curb power theft SEPCO chief told.
