SUJ & SPC members demanded legal action against GMMC adminstration

SUKKUR: An emergency meeting of
Sukkur Union of Journalists held in Sukkur Press Club here on Thursday against the torture committed by Ghulam Muhammad Mahar Medical College Sukkur on the senior journalists while coverage of students protest against college adminstration,
which was chaired by Acting President Jalal Din bhayo.
Meeting was attendended by Union of Journalists General Secretary, Javed Khan Jatoi, Press Club President Chaudhry Mohammad Arshad Gondal, General Secretary Shahzad tabany, Imdad buzdar, Salahuddin Qureshi, Ahmed Farooqi, Jamil Mughal, Nadeem sarki, Kashif phlphutu, the others, including Faisal Arain, Waqas Arain, Ali Bakhsh phlphutu, Fareed Soomro and others.
Meeting has condemned the violence and to keep imprisonment senior journalists, Imdad buzdar, Waqas Arain, and private TV cameraman Imran Sheikh and Bakhshal phulpoto by college administration. Participants unanimously called the Sindh provincial health minister, Secretary of Health legal action against the staff involved in incident.
Co-participants of the meeting demanded the Sind government action against adminstration and termed the incident against the students and journalists in the educational institution as very sad process. They vowed to carry on their protest and announced that they will continue peaceful struggle against the illegal and undemocratic actions by GMMMC adminstration.
