Sukkur police nabbed several PTI leaders ahead of Azadi March

SUKKUR: PTI workers led by provincial leader Tahir Hussain Shah, Dawai khan, Zaheer Aziz Abro Babar and others held protest outside the Insaf House Military Road Sukkur and police tried to stoped them. Protestor who were carrying hatchets in their hands tried to block National Highway at City bypass but police started shelling due to which many demonstrators injured.
Later, police arrested several leaders and activists including provincial leader Tahir Hussain shah, Dawa Khan, Zaheer Babar Aziz Abro.
Without naming any political party, the senior police officer said the police were taking actions against activists who were “taking the law into their own hands”.
