Sukkur region SPLA threaten to boycott Senate & Academic elections

SUKKUR: The Sindh Professors and Lecturers Association (SPLA) Sukkur region in its urgent press conference here at the Sukkur Pres Club on Monday made announcement of boycott of the forthcoming election of Senate and academic session by the administration of Shah Abdul Latif University khairpur against the “unfulfilled promises” of the management of Salu Khairpur Mirs.
According to the details, SPLA Sukkur region members Professor Amjad Ali Channo, Saeed Ahmed Shah, Deedar Ali Mirani, Zilfiqar Ali, Professor Nasir a, Irfan Mangnejo, Naeem Tariq, and other held Press conference and vowed to resist the alleged attempt of getting favorable candidates through rigging process. They told that they had given their request of cancelation of election to university but still had not been received positive response. Further told that SPLA had been dealt like step motherly by university management and registrar was reluctant to meet them. They also demanded to give the right of vote to 173 DP librarian of 55 colleges of 8 districts of interior sindh.
