Time to take action against dacoits in Sindh

SUKKUR: IG Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon has started working on strategy for operation against dacoits in Kacha areas, initially two teams have been formed, one team is DIG Security Maqsood Memon, DIG IT Pervez Chandev, DIG Headquarters, DIG Establishment and SSP Ghotki Tanveer Tanveo, who have been engaged in consultation in this regard for the past several days, have considered the strategy for the operation. While visiting the Arms Exhibition Ideas 2022 organized in Karachi to buy modern weapons, the weapons were reviewed and meetings of important officers were also held.
In the meeting, the successes and failures in the operation against dacoits in Shikarpur, Kashmore, Ghotki, Sukkur and Khairpur districts during the past period have also been reviewed. According to sources, on the instructions of IG Sindh, a team has been formed under the leadership of DIG Larkana Mazhar Nawaz Sheikh, comprising DIG Hyderabad Pir Muhammad Shah, SSP Hyderabad Amjad Ahmed Sheikh and SSP Kashmore. Zubair Sheikh, AIG Logistics DIG Telecommunication and some other officers are involved. Construction of unpaved and paved roads in these three districts of Kacha, increase in police force, and whatever operational requirements there are including police commandos, snipers, night vision cameras, telescopes and how to ensure complete peace in these districts of Kacha.
It is also recommended that SSP Hyderabad Amjad Ahmed Shaikh be involved in the operation, as dozens of notorious dacoits, and robbers were killed in a successful operation against dacoits in Kashmore and Shikarpur by the joint cooperation of Amjad Ahmad Shaikh and SSP Tanveer Hussain Tanio.
The government and the police will initially conduct an operation against dacoits in the slum areas of Shikarpur, Kashmore and Ghotki districts. According to the sources, the Sindh government has also decided to give five billion rupees to the police to purchase modern weapons and intelligence equipment to make the operation against robbers successful and suppress them completely.
Technical assistance of Pakistan Army will also be taken for the purchase of modern weapons and equipment. According to sources, along with modern weapons, modern drone technology will also be obtained. Sniper rifles with a range of up to three kilometers have also been purchased in the operation, and a thermal imaging device, a night vision telescope, with the ability to see the target at a distance of two kilometers in the dark of night. will also be procured, while it has also been decided to procure advanced automatic machine guns to be mounted on top of China’s armored APCs. The machine gun is also used by the country’s security forces and developed in that country.
This machine gun has the ability to catch the sound of the gunshot from whichever direction the criminals are firing and the machine gun will immediately turn to that side and start automatic firing. A target of six months has been set to complete the operation launched by the police against dacoits.
After the martyrdom of police officers and jawans in the attack of dacoits in Ghotki, SSP Hyderabad Amjad Ahmed Shaikh has offered his services to IG Sindh to participate in the operation against dacoits. They say that I and the police officers owe the martyrdom of their officers and men and the debt of this department, which we will pay, I want to join the operation, according to sources, after the Ghotki incident, SSP Amjad Ahmed Sheikh He has expressed his desire to join this operation while offering his services to IG Sindh.
He says that I am trying and I have also requested the IG Sindh to participate in the operation along with the officers and men, this is the debt and burden of the martyrs on all the officers including me. Mohamaka police also owes us, where our jawans were martyred, these dacoits should be taught a lesson at the same place, SSP Amjad Ahmed Sheikh’s pain and feelings are appreciable. In an interview, SSP Amjad Ahmad Sheikh says that the night written in the grave, he cannot spend outside.
On the other hand, the services of special commandos of the police have also been obtained from Karachi regarding the operation against the robbers. Before the operation against dacoits in Shikarpur, Ghotki and Kandhkot Kashmore districts, it has been decided to seal the routes of criminals in different areas of Kutch. 600 special commandos have started arriving from Karachi to block the routes of robbers before the operation against dacoits in Kutcha.
While it is being told that for the operation, retired and serving police officers, including Ghulam Shabbir Sheikh, Syed Mushtaq Shah, AD Khawaja, Sanaullah Abbasi, Bashir Memon, Sultan Ali Khawaja, Khadim Hussain Rand, Dr. Najaf Mirza, etc will also be contacted. It is also considered to take the suggestions of these officers, who have been posted in different districts of Sukkur and Larkana range.
