Truckers protested against heavy fines

SUKKUR: The transporters and truck drivers went on strike on Tuesday after the motor way police, started to impose heavy fines on heavy loading vehicles, near weigh machine 479 SB Rohri. Reportedly more than hundreds of heavy vehicles and around 250 drivers and other staff present n the protesting camp.

They asked the federal government and motor way management to stop imposing heavy fines on them unnecessarily”. CPO, AO 27 and SHO patni were also monitoring the procession.
