Un accounted corruption in colony maintenance funds

SUKKUR : The money received from the Sindh government for the repair of the quarters and bungalows and the boundary wall of Sukkur Barrage Colony, amounting to 77 crore rupees, is being corrupted in the name of the sons of Karta Dharta clerks of the office under the patronage of Chief Engineer Sukkur Barrage Sardar Shah. Hundreds of employees’ quarters have fallen in the rain and roofs of many quarters have begun to leak, crores of rupees are spent on commissioner house, DG NAB and ED bungalows, but poor employees of irrigation department look helpless to get their demaged houses repaired, organizations that can prevent corruption are seen silent spectators.
