SEPCO cracking down on electricity theft and defaulters: CEO SEPCO

SUKKUR: Chief Executive Officer SEPCO Engineer Manzoor Hussain Soomro visited various areas of Operation Division SEPCO Jacobabad. CEO SEPCO says that SEPCO is facing loss due to electricity thieves. He said actions are being taken with the support of local administration, Sindh Police and Federal Investigation Agency FIA to bring the electricity thieves to justice. Soomro said that Power theft is a serious crime that leads to loss of electricity from the national grid. In order to discourage electricity theft in the society, SEPCO staff will continue to conduct day and night operations against electricity thieves and defaulters. No one involved in electricity theft will be forgiven and at the same time he has appealed to SEPCO users to fully support company in the campaign to stop electricity theft, which will improve the situation and significantly reduce load shedding. .
Chief Executive Officer SEPCO – Engineer Manzoor Hussain Soomro has said that the work of securing meters on all high loss feeders is going on while maintaining the strategy of zero tolerance against power theft.
